About Us

Sea Lillie originated from a small start-up company called Simple Roots which was established in 2009. The company was started by Kaela as a hobby while finishing up her senior year in college and it quickly developed into a budding business. A successful holiday season led into an even busier new year. As summer approached, Kaela was scheduled to go on a mission trip to Zambia, Africa in June 2010 with the The Give Life Project. With the success she gained from Simple Roots, she was able to donate 100% of her sales to aide in buying supplies for orphaned children.  

 With Simple Roots growing and Kaela's aspirations and dreams growing too, she decided it was time to take the company in a new direction. Enter her new business partner: her sister-in-law Nicole. (Did we mention we married two brothers? So we share a great surname - Antolino.) 

We chose Psalm 96:11 as our company verse: "Let the heavens be glad, let the earth rejoice! Let the sea and everything in it shout his praise!"  because it is from the Lord's magnificent creation that we draw our inspiration for this company. We ultimately hope and pray, that everything we do will glorify God.

At the beginning of 2012, Nicole and her hubby moved to Gainesville, Florida. Nicole was instrumental in developing and designing Sea Lillie and all of her creativity will be missed. Now Sea Lillie is run solely by Kaela, who has great dreams of using Sea Lillie to help others. Since launching our Give Life Collection, we have been able to donate almost $1,000.00 to the organization- which is incredible given that Sea Lillie is a tiny, new online shop!
